Miss Wanetah Grimes died last Thursday at Chicago where she had been working in a photograph gallery. Two weeks before she was taken sick with typhoid fever resulting in her death as stated. The body was brought to Guion where funeral services were held Sunday. - kz

The many friends of Miss Wanetah Grimes in this city will be pained to learn of her death in Chicago last Thursday. Miss Grimes was the youngest daughter of Gee Grimes, the horseman, formerly of this city. Miss Grimes has been working at photography in Chicago for some time and two weeks ago was taken sick with typhoid fever, resulting in her death as stated above. Mrs. Will Henkle and Mr. Joe Grimes, her grandfather, went to Guion Saturday where the funeral occurred at one o’clock. = kz
